We spoke with Carmen and Lee from Samikata who told us all about the inspiration behind Samikata and their fabulous range.

SamiKata Tipi Events is proudly Australia’s original Nordic Tipi hire company. We first saw these stunning structures at Glastonbury and immediately knew they would provide a stylish alternative for couples looking to step outside the white-box marquee space. Dressed up or kept elegantly simple they cater to all styles of wedding including classic, vintage, rustic & boho.
Our tipis ooze atmosphere in all seasons. In summer, we raise the sides creating a spectacular canopy with 360 degree views. In winter, we drop the sides creating a gorgeous space set with a wooden fire pit for an unforgettable ambience.
The tipis are suitable for an intimate soiree or grand gala; we simply join multiple tipis in various configurations. SamiKata has bespoke furniture, flooring and lighting packages and work with the best stylists & florists for an incredible verve.
